Wilder Gallery, founded in December 2020 and opening its doors in April 2021, is an independent, woman-owned gallery in the heart of Kensal Rise showcasing emerging and contemporary art. Michelle Lee Medjeral-Thomas is founder and director.

The gallery presents a physical exhibition program,  alongside an online exhibition program, with a mission to champion and support the most exciting emerging and contemporary artists.

Our physical exhibition program specialises in solo and duo presentations, using our platform to champion women identifying artists. We use our online exhibition program to fundraise for artist and gallery nominated charitable causes. We have donated to the Trussell Trust, Cancer Research UK, The Brain Tumour Charity, Bees & Refugees, Burma Campaign UK, Mind Charity, The British Red Cross and TreeSisters.

Moving away from the traditional artist representation model, we instead invite collaboration with artists, curators and organisations to provide a dynamic exhibition programme, and support and create opportunities for an artist's career. We have had the privilege of exhibiting works by Laura Berger, Catherine Repko, Amy Beager, James Owens, Alya Hatta, Lera Dubitskaya, Eleanor May Watson, Anne Carney Raines, Bobbye Fermie, Georgia Beaumont, Hannah Lim, Hilda Kortei, Savannah Marie Harris, Jiwon Cha, Ana Benavides, Katherine Qiyu Su, David Gardner, Lydia Baker, Larysa Myers, Edward Hongyi Jia, Beatrice Hasell-McCosh, Zayn Qahtani, Julia Bennett, Yi Toh, Chi Cheng, Gherdai Hassell, Vasilis Avramidis, Holly Mills, Margaret R Thompson, Minyoung Kim, Yiwei Xu, Rosalind Howdle, Emily Pettigrew, Joana Galego, Fa Razavi, Morteza Khakshoor, Ryan Steadman, Rebecca Truscott-Elves  and many more. We have collaborated with galleries and independent curators Mothflower, Purslane, Matilda Liu, Claudia Cheng, Mollie Barnes from She Curates and Delphian Gallery.

We believe in openness and accessibility and welcome all to visit and engage with the art. We work with Own Art (UK clients) to offer interest-free instalments, spreading the cost of purchasing over 10 months at no extra cost to the client.
